Green Moss Cemetery & Church Investigation

History: The church was built in 1865, right at the conclusion of America’s Civil War.

Hauntings: Loud footsteps often heard inside of the church. In fact, most, if not all of the phenomena happens inside the church rather than the cemetery. Some reports of strange lights have been reported in the cemetery.

Equipment setup: No setup. We only used hand-held equipment such as Ovilus X, DTD screen, digital cameras, recorders and camcorders, REM Epod, Melmeter.

Experiments performed: EVP and Ovilus X sessions were conducted in the cemetery proper.

Personal experiences: This was a quiet and peaceful location that also had an old but beautiful wooden church on the property. No paranormal experiences happened while we were visiting or conducting our EVP sessions.

There was an interesting marker that had what almost looked like a mathematical formula on it that none of us were able to decipher. Perhaps some smart subscriber to my YouTube page will let us know the true meaning of it; if there is a meaning.

Evidence collected:

No Green Moss.MPG – while conducting an Ovilus X session in phonetic mode, a question was asked, “Don’t you like us being here?” The device responded with, “No.”

Words spoken by the Ovilus X in dictionary mode: spell; in phonetic mode – I’ve had it

Conclusions: As this was the first time we visited this location, it was meant more as a scouting trip to determine which locations had some promise for future investigations. We visited this location in broad daylight but I’m sure we would secure permission to conduct a nighttime investigation instead.

The church would be another great location to collect some evidence and I look forward to our return to this place!
